Megacentre
The Megacentre is a busy social enterprise running multiple businesses and projects in different cities. The site needed a uniform design which incorporated the different businesses and cities in a graceful way. It also needed to be fully editable by the end-user. This was work completed on a self-employed basis.
Design
- Designed whole site
- Design incorporates all three cities and their respective businesses in an intuitive way
Development
- WordPress multi-site installation to allow easy addition of more businesses and cities
- IIS server environment
- Configured third party (Helicon Tech) implementation of Apache mod_rewrite
- Custom WordPress plugins to allow updating of “adbar” and featured content
- Tabs can be updated, re-ordered and removed by user
- Polaroid photos can be uploaded and positioned on the page by user
