It’s called Character Tools, and it’s a useful little utility that gives you the right numerical entity for foreign characters (e.g. á for ‘á’).

I was recently browsing a site about French (french.about.com), when I came across a page promising to teach me all about French gestures (french.about.com/etc…). Intrigued, I followed the link, and I learnt many new phrases and a few gestures.

I also learnt that the lady who runs the site has a really long index finger, which amused me. Also, you might like to take a peak at this image: apparently very vulgar, but to my eyes hilarious.

Finally, and this is the best out of the three, the familiar hand-in-elbow-shake-fist gesture which is also apparently very vulgar. For some reason I find these two pictures wet-yourself funny. It’s like some sort of bad porn or something.

Well, the photos from my trip to South America are finally all uploaded and categorised, and some even have captions! It’s taken me absolutely ages to get everything working, so you’d better go and at least have a little look!

And it’s a link! I am a massive fan of grammar, and I just found this website. It actually amazed me, it’s brilliant: it’s so comprehensive! And what’s more, they’re not even English, it’s a German-based communications company. I was well pleased.

So, welcome back to this blog. My South American blog is still available, naturally, and I will shortly be adding a photo gallery to make things wonderful. I think writing that blog made me a better blogger generally: I think I write better. Anyway, got to sort through all my photos and work out which ones are going on the site, and which ones are allowed to be given to people (friends and family, etc).
