George Calloway must die

I can’t actually believe it. The man is an elected representative, and he’s on “Celebrity” Big Brother. I saw the bit where he was pretending to be a cat, and I had to turn over in disgust. I mean I really couldn’t stand to watch it. He gets paid public money to be a Member of Parliament!

A Member of Parliament!!!

Why and how was he allowed to take part in such a vapid piece of paltry entertainment? I might be able to understand it if he was desparate for money, or an ailing z-list celebrity, but no — he’s got a paid job to help run the country for goodness sake. If I was in his constituency I would be calling for his immediate resignation, I think it’s a total farce that he’s been allowed to participate, and it completely detracts from the validity of anything he’s ever said. I won’t be able to take anything he says seriously any more. He should be sacked.

Galloway. Or was “Calloway” some kind of pun? I know “callow” is a negative attribute. But I don’t know what it means.

But in any case, I certainly agree with this rant, Mr Kenny. You are absolutely right. In the Bundesrepublik we would not stand for it. Probably.

I’m not that clever. I just didn’t know how to spell his name.

Why do I constantly get everything wrong!?

i would also like to point out, in my nit picking fashion… Galloway.
i wish i could share your pain, but we don’t have such tosh aired here on radio telefish (?!) eireann

Telefish: it’s good, but it’s not the one.

(I just wanted to say that, it’s the best Catchphrase-deriven phrase since “Say what you see!”)

I probably will never come to this site because it seriously lacks seriousness. You’re using an ad hominem fallacy (Callaway) and are pretending to be anything other than just scratching your ass for comments. George Galloway rocks and he inspires thought and inquiry instead of following what you are bombarded by the media. Free speech should be allowed everywhere and especially in parliament because he seems to be the only one who cites all his sources when he says things. You guys have been misled because either you have been living in an environment where having different beliefs over a group mentality makes you lose political advantage and you are too scared to move away from your habitual lifestyle.
