Neighbours is 20 years old!
Well, today I turned on the TV to catch the credits of today’s Neighbours episode. What should greet me but about a million past members of the cast! It certainly was a blast from the past. (May I just point out how utterly boring this post is). Anyway, caught the actual episode in the afternoon (oh yes, I had time to wait) and I have to say I have never been more ashamed to cry at something on TV before in my life. Well, I didn’t actually cry, but I almost did. Well, I almost almost did.
It’s funny, actual real life rarely makes me cry. I cry more often at books, TV, films and, although rarely, music. Weird that. Or maybe it isn’t. Perhaps crying isn’t as big a deal as it’s sometimes made out to be.
Also recently I have been listening to Hanne Hukkelberg’s latest (don’t you just love it the way people drop names into blog posts as though everyone else knows about them except you) entitled Little Things which is quite delightfully bizarre. My favourite lyric is “I wish I could convert to waves and become the sea” set to a lovely tune.
The man came to look at my PC today. He said it might be the motherboard or the processor. Well when I find out which one it is, I will boil it. Little horror! I may even boil the wireless broadband thing too, for good measure, because I know it’s guilty of crimes against my computer!
Anyway, check out Amazon’s entry for the Hanne Hukkelberg album. The track I like is called Conversion. Before I go, though, why on earth are Amazon’s URLs so bloody long! It’s a mystery to me.
