My goodness, what a lot of crap
It’s been really weird of late. Since working on Open Space (which, do you note, I link to in pretty much every post) my web design standards have taken a bit of a knock. I mean, I used to be seriously bothered about having my code look perfect, and be super-efficient, and have everything really nicely indented and everything. Then along comes something and the whole thing goes to pot. (Still a validation fascist tho, which pleases me).
Anyway, I have decided that I need to have some more content, it’s just taking its sweet time getting here. And this blog is rapidly filling up with posts about nothing. Well, no, I guess it’s not. Never mind.
I think Open Space is just about ready to be called “not in the design stage any more”. A good website is never finished (a finished website is a dead website), but I think OS is now ready. So go and have a look and then make sure you all come back and leave lovely comments about it!!! People don’t realise how hard it is to make websites; it’s a lot of work! I mean, taking the blog design and applying it to wordpress was bloody difficult! And I managed it in only a few hours!
(The WordPress template I modified (modified cos I know nothing of PHP) happily split the page into about 15 different constituent parts, each compiled (most probably by magic, but I will concede and say PHP has something to do with it) and then styled using CSS. It took a while to work out which constituent did what, but now I am the master! Huzzah! I shall never go back to using blogger.com again! BTW, can you put whole paragraphs in brackets like this?)
So, I am happy. I’m very pleased with myself about the OS site, ha ha! Time to end this rambly, off-the-point post.

Hi Mark! I just wanted to commend your wesite genius - the open space website is really rather good. I’m impressed. Well done :)
Looks pretty simple to me. Heck, I could have done that with my eyes shut.
Oh…no… actually maybe I couldn’t.
…Sorry!
My mistake. Well done Mark. You are right, it is actually the work of a genuis. I mean genius. I can’t even type any more.
Well, I don’t know about genius… but i’m pleased with it. Thanks for your nice comments!
