Being Mr. Kenny

Woke up this morning and fell asleep again. Woke up this afternoon (lol) to a lovely snowscape outside my window. Yeah, it’s been proper snowing here in Sheffield. Got some photos:

This one is a shot from within the arts tower. It’s flooded and they’ve put buckets down. Don’t know why this is funny. Actually, no it’s not funny, but I’ve already uploaded the image now.

There’s this shop not far from my house which sells furniture, and the owner displays some of his stock just outside. The thing is, he does this all year round. Come rain or shine! Whatever the weather, there’s still loads of furniture outside. Today I noticed a mantlepiece, absolutely sodden and covered in snow. It’s a common sight to see sofas, chairs and tables in the pouring rain. I’m amazed he sells anything!
